About ACME Research Solutions
Pharmaceutical CRO in India for formulation development & in vitro research
ACME Research Solutions is a GMP & ISO 9001:2015 certified pharmaceutical contract research organisation (CRO) in Baghpat, India — delivering formulation development, in vitro research and MTT cytotoxicity assays to international standards across South East Asia and the world.
Who we are
A GMP & ISO-certified pharmaceutical CRO in India
ACME Research Solutions is an India-based pharmaceutical contract research organisation built around a single principle: that rigorous, reproducible science should never be limited by privilege or postcode.
Operating to GMP and ISO 9001:2015 certified quality standards, ACME supports pharmaceutical companies, PhD and M.Pharm scholars, and student investigators across South East Asia, Europe and the United States. Our work spans formulation development, in vitro research, plant authentication and scientific writing — handled in-house, end to end, with the data integrity that publication and regulatory review demand.
Proven track record
Trusted by researchers across the globe
The founder
Dr. Akhilesh Vats
Founder & Director, ACME Research Solutions
ACME is led from the bench. Dr. Vats is a pharmaceutical scientist whose work centres on nanoparticle therapeutics, cancer biology, apoptosis pathways and novel drug-delivery systems. What distinguishes his approach is the absence of distance between leadership and laboratory — formulation troubleshooting, assay design and data interpretation remain hands-on parts of his week, not delegated abstractions.
He built ACME from the ground up, without institutional backing, government grants or legacy advantage. Every study ships with full documentation, raw-data traceability and statistical rigour as standard rather than as a premium, and the PEXACY journal under his editorship has drawn citations in journals published by Nature, Wiley, Frontiers and Taylor & Francis.
- Regeneron ISEF 2026 Qualified Scientist — recognised on the Society for Science (USA) official project database.
- Editor-in-Chief, PEXACY International Journal of Pharmaceutical Science — ISSN-listed and OpenAIRE-indexed.
- Honorary Lifetime Fellow (F. GAPTR) — Global Alliance for Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Research, London.
Science should not have a postcode.

Recognition & standards
Recognised globally. Trusted across South East Asia.
Global reach
In vitro research & formulation support across 6 countries
ACME partners with universities, science high schools, and pharmaceutical, veterinary and life-sciences research groups — and has developed formulations for 10+ companies. We deliver in vitro testing, formulation development, biostatistics and ISEF research mentorship to international standards.
A cross-border hub for Filipino researchers
The Philippines has become a particular focus. ACME supports in vitro cytotoxicity testing, MTT Assay workflows, plant-based research and early-stage formulation through structured, transparent guidance — including guided online sessions on assay principles and data interpretation. Teams send extracts and samples for evaluation and receive raw data, statistical analysis and clear interpretation to take into theses, publications and competitions. Several mentored projects have placed at regional science competitions, and the work is now formalised through institutional collaboration, including a Memorandum of Understanding with Western Mindanao State University.
